LoveWind
--from Fortune
You sent the wind from your far shore
To sing a song to me.
It whispered sweetly in my ear
And was good company.
It touched my brow, caressed my cheek,
Then kissed me warm and deep.
It's silky breezes touched my skin
And would not let me sleep.
I was prepared for each hot gust
That swept me head to toe.
My love had trained the wind so well,
It knew just where to go.
Thus I embraced the wind all night
And ecstasy was mine.
To be so loved is rare delight,
A happening divine.
I did not want to see the dawn
As lonely as before
So I locked my doors and windows tight
And then I begged for more.
